  2. LeeRyan2930 says:

    any guy that has mastered boxing, muay thai and an elite type of ground combat/defense like wrestling or brazilian jiu jitsu will own in MMA. a great example is Anderson Silva. look, the key word here is ‘mastered’. you can see guys that say they’re muay thai and boxing fighters but they ain’t that good at all in the claimed areas. examples would be Thiago Silva & Thiago Alves. the dudes aren’t good in muay thai. compare them to the Spider’ muay thai they’re like amatures. same goes for boxing,

    @imafuttbucku

    Cung even uses tkd… wich is underrated.

  4. racingmylife15 says:

    Cung Le’s style is Sanda, not Muay Thai.

  5. youngn420 says:

    @trehansen i tip my hat off to Muay Thai fighters….that shit is fuckin brutal

  6. dotofdeath says:

    Hate to burst your bubble, but Cung Le is a Sanshou stylist.

    Just for your information.

  7. imafuttbucku says:

    Muay Thai***

  8. imafuttbucku says:

    @trehansen
    if you watch a Cung Le highlight video, you can see why Muy Thai is

  9. DericCarteru says:

    hui am really bored anyone wanna play and have fun

  10. xMarucsFenixX says:

    Yeah. How can another guy take you down if you kick fast and hard to the head? I train boxing and karate. I have gotten knocked out in Karate from a kick to the head when we did sparring. I mean so I saw double.

  11. Evaese says:

    no martial arts here, just testosterone and flashing lights…haha

  12. trehansen says:

    Agreed, which is why Muay Thai is generally regarded as the best MMA stand up style.

  13. Shekanereal says:

    @FireProMMA
    Totally agreed.

  14. 80aussiepride08 says:

    @FireProMMA your full of shit.

  15. geenius3ab says:

    Thats why one must find the opening when to hit the enemy with the leg….Legs do a lot more dmg and the distance where one can hit is a lot bigger with legs….
    Legs are a powerful weapon in any fight….Thats the problem with most of the MMA fighters, that they don’t use their legs..
    Im aware that its risky..But thats why it’s important to find the moment when u can kick your enemy..

  16. FireProMMA says:

    High kicks are a low percentage move that typically result in you getting taken down. There’s a lot of high calibre wrestlers in MMA, and feeding them your leg makes as much sense as walking into traffic.

  17. FireProMMA says:

    Except it originated years prior in Japan, not America.

  18. maliasnt says:

    check mirco cro cop he is the one you re looking for :)

  19. geenius3ab says:

    I saw some of his fights and i have to say that his high-kicks are quite nice (When his kick misses than he sometimes loses his balance a for bit..But otherwise he has some really nice kicks. )..

  20. PauletteDettmar45 says:

    so so bored any guys want to rescue me

  21. mcgarry06 says:

    go check out some mirko cro crop fights then

  22. geenius3ab says:

    The MMA fighters i have seen don’t have fluid movements, meaning its easier to block the kick.
    I haven’t seen any MMA fighters use high kicks yet, only low kicks.. -.-..

  23. Theyellowma says:

    What are you basing that observation on? A lot of entry-level MMA fighters I’ve seen can throw effective high kicks.

  24. Theyellowma says:

    The sport didn’t originate in America.

  25. Theyellowma says:

    Alessio Sakara.
