I’m calling fakery on this. Aside from having used the “old video” effect myself in an editing program, I know that if you let any molten metal (i.e. liquid at over 300-ish degrees celcius) contact water, it can cause the water to boil explosively. Unless he cheated, and coated his mouth with something, which would be cheating.
