The first decade of the millennium has seen a sweeping change of the entertainment industry, from African American actors finally getting recognition for their talents, to outrageous new comedians and darker superhero movies. At the same time, scripted television programming took a back seat to countless reality shows, while fantasy novels and documentaries became a film craze, and celebrity icons passed away before their time. In this video, watchmojo.com takes a trip down memory lane to re-tell the key moments from the past decade from entertainment.

2000s Decade Recap – Video Games
Separate video, that’s how important it was.
Why no mention of video games? They’re entertainment and they made some pretty significant leaps in the 00s. They had 2 generations of consoles released that decade.
HI BILLY MAYS HERE.
1990’s and early 2000’s were the best but ever since movies like fast and the furious everyone’s attitudes were to be driving fast cars, screwing their girl friends bieng tough at the same time.
?????
Not mentioning District 9 is a crime against entertainment… and humanity.
we did bigger than ever.
I wish we would have this in 1999
lost is shit.
Agreed.
Where is LOST and JJ Abrams???
And this was made/uploaded the day before Brittany Murphy passed away; may she r.i.p.
or billy mays
They didn’t mention the death of George Carlin.
Bastards.
they didnt talk about digital 3D.
Rambo was mentioned…no recap can every mention everything, but true say…don’t forget the Ninja Turtles!
I’m surprised they didn’t mention the trend of “resurecting old franchises”, a sequal to something 10 years old. (Rambo, Rocky, Terminator, Indiana Joans.)
Or remakes of older failed projects.
2000’s SUCK balls.
